Good Morning, A couple year back someone had sent me the list of RIDs for Ohio County. Somehow I misplaced it and cant find the email any longer. Anyone on her have RIDs for Ohio County Units that they would be able to send me?

They would have been obtained from DSDPlus. Don't you monitor Ohio Co with DSDPlus yourself?

I can pick up WESTCOM call channel "C" (TG9855) loud and clear, but when they change to other talkgroups (Med A, Med B, etc.), I cannot pick them up. I am closest to the Pennsboro tower site. Anyone have a suggestion? Monitoring with a WS1040.

Its probably an affiliation thing. I am thinking theres probably a radio sitting on Westcom C thats on the Pennsboro tower and thats the reason your hearing it. A,B,C etc probably isnt affiliated with the tower unless a radio on the tower switched to that channel

This is exactly it. At least around here they leave the truck radios on Wescom C since that is the "hailing" channel, so no matter what tower you're on, there is likely a radio affiliated with it. "C" may even be set to broadcast on all towers regardless of affiliation. Once the Westcom telecommunicator advises the med channel to switch over to, if there is not a radio nearby affiliated on the tower you are listening to on that med channel you won't hear it.

I mainly listen to the Vienna tower, and always hear things on C - but if there is a truck in Rockport or somewhere like that and they switch over to a med channel, most of the time I don't hear it either.

Does anyone know what "helo#?" is for medevacs in Berkely County on SIRN ?

I also herd them tell the responding engine that the helo would be on "Med#?".

I was in another room and did not get to the living room fast enough....

I forgot to include SIRN talk group 9821 WVU Medcom - Ch. A - Medevac Patient Information, Medcom will pass on patient info to Healthnet 8 while they are enroute to the location they have been dispatched to. In some other parts of the state talk group 9871 WVU Medcom - Ch. F is used in this way. Please note that the talk groups are also used during ground transports. B/C/D and E are not used by Medevac helos, at least I don't recall hearing that kind of activity on them.
