Hi Everybody
Noticed all the talk about being able to scan SK P-25 systems but I haven't seen where anybody has been using any uniden scanners sucessfully. Has anybody had any luck using the 996T to monitor that system? I would be using scancontrol to program.

I used a 396T with firmware 1.13.17 to originally listen to it back in December of last year & no scan program. Just a lot of fast writing & paper pads. I managed to piece together a little section the system but I didn't realize that some steps were slightly off. I still managed to log a few TGIDs & a few of frequency s though.

Thanks I'll give it a shot when I'm up there next week

Did you have any luck with your 996T on the Sask. P25 system this week? If you did please post the results from your trip north of the 49th. Thanks !

Doesnt the system use NAC codes? So the 96 396 996 will work but not fully trunk the NAC codes.

No ! It is a trunked P25 system. There were " NAC " codes posted for this system but they were not" NAC" codes. Uniden scanners should have no problem tracking this system but no Sask. uniden users have chimmed in on this system. Why ?

Im guessing the 296D / 796D wont work as the offset is pretty high.. I believe its out of bounds for the 296 /796 scanners.
