Crazy skip tonight! Getting WX channels from Worcester Mass, Rochester, Syracuse and Finger lakes.. also getting Buffalo Police and Fire at 100% signal strength, same with Rochester.

i was receiving Buffalo,Rochester,etc as well,like they were local.in fact,my scanner i have in my office at work was picking it up as well through the night.interesting listening for sure.

Any better then last night or about the same? It was all coming from WNY last night including Buffalo and Rochester.

It is also coming in from the SW. I heard Erie NOAA on 162.475 quite clear this AM.

A new one for me 162.450, Bad Patch Michigan, upper Peninula Michigan from my home base in Burlington this AM.
Normally I could barely hear it up on the Bruce Peninsula when we used to go up there.

I wish the skip was that good here in windsor, tried before to get Ohio but no go :-( (even with a discone mounted 35 feet up and LMR coax)
