GPS data and existing bank names do not appear to be preserved. Import a csv from the radio, then export CSV from ARC30. The names and GPS data don't seem to be in the exported CSV. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

RT Systems released their software for the IC-R30. It's $25 and uses a standard USB cable.

Just installed the RTSystems IC-R30 programming software. I like the extensive Radio Menu settings there is two tabs with about 90+ settings to work with. I also like that you can change the font type and size in the software. So much easier to read when programming. It does utilize RadioReference database with this program !

Yes, you'll need a premium subscription for Radioreference . It also can find data using, RepeaterBook search, and RFinder Web search .

I bought and downloaded the software. The program doesn't even "see" my radio. I can't upload radio info to the program.

I'm having trouble seeing my receiver as well. Can you outline the steps you take?

BTW, The ARC30 beta 4 software looks pretty good now. It reads in existing bank names and GPS data.

Turns out I wasn't using clone mode.
On the r30: menu/others/Clone/Clone Mode/Yes

In RT Systems: Communications/Adjust sending speed/Fast
Communications/get data from radio

No need to SET :On the r30: menu/others/Clone/Clone Mode/Yes . I even went into the menu and set it to NO and the R30 will automatically connect . All I did was have USB CONNECT to Serialport- USB Serialport Function set to CI-V Echo OFF.

No need to go into the menus - Just connect and the software will do the rest .

And you are correct about -Adjust sending speed to - Fast in the software.

RT Systems IC-R30 issue

Anyone having issues with the new RT Systems IC-R30 software (version 5.00.16) saving changes to the operating mode? For example, I tried to change FM to NFM and it will not save the file correctly reverting back to FM.

Yes, I reported it to them this morning. Domenic said a fix should be out today. Try running the updater.

I just updated RT Systems to 5.00.17 and the mode problems are corrected.

Not yet... Icom should release Android and IOS apps soon.

Now that I have the 1.10 firmware on my R30 the RT Systems errors at the end of the communications/get data from radio function. Anyone else having the same problem?
