Hi all just joined from Wales UK and was wandering if you could help me i need a good FREE programe to controll my aor 3000a scanner i,v been looking for a while and have,nt had much luck Spectrum Commander is great but way to expensive please can you help thanks

There's quite a selection of 3000 software on the Strong Signals software page and the AR3000 Resource Centre; but there's an even better bet for software recommendations. Often mailing lists that are devoted to a particular radio will have tips - and sometimes software - that's almost impossible to find elsewhere. For example, there's

I wouldn't doubt that Smartgroups might have something similar.

If that group doesn't have anything, let me know; I'll repost the URLs from the other 2 sites. But I suspect that the Yahoo group will have many opinions on good software.
