Did they switch from Phase 1 to Phase 2 thinking Phase2 would be more immune to interference from Ch19?

One other wildcard to consider. The 500/700 systems are Site 3 (500) Site 4 (700) are one system. Law may appear on one or the other or both systems randomly. This can occur for a moment ,minute ,hours or days at a time. Of course Site 4 is Phase 2.

Today Region 4 is active only on Site 4 P2.

Your only chance is to scan both systems simultaneously on two different radios that are
both P1 P2 capable. They also need to decode LSM well, which many do not.

If you do that with one radio it really does not work well for obvious reasons.

I program the 500 system and the 700 system into separate Favorite Lists. That is the only way I hear the 700 side, from certain locations.... Otherwise, the radio cannot find the 700 control channel

Anyone remember Phase 2 on the 500 System? I am now seeing PD’s from time to time P2. I think this is new. The Quantars are EOL so @GTR8000 are in the racks slowly.

I have a Pro-106 which can only do Phase 1. Region 4 has been Phase 1 and nothing has been heard in at least the last 2-3 weeks now.
