2 additional frequencies were added recently. 9 and 10. However 9 is the same as 7. I cant add 2 of the same frequency into my scanner.
There is also a new tac channel.
Does anyone have any insight on this?

Dude, have you looked at this ? , there are no freq's per se they operate on a trunk system meaning that they share those frequencies with Police, Ambulance (main users) you have to understand trunking better, what you are referring to is talkgroups or channels (like any radio has F1-F16 typical)
you also need to program in the Surrey freq's & Coquitlam & ALdergrove (Langley) towers in seperate banks to ensure you hear all the action.

What do you think about submitting the correct frequencies to the RRDB, then?

The correct information was listed. But people keep making changes to the database with information that is not always correct. I dont have time to keep checking the RRDB to make sure things are correct.

I'm a DB admin here, I'll gladly take care of that, but I need to know where the correct data is. Is the ScanBC wiki the most correct?

Dude I understand trunking. What I am asking is What are the correct frequencies as number 7 and 9 are exactly the same. Stuck22 got the new TGID's correct however I suspect there are a couple more.

Yes that does appear to be wrong, Craig - and I just checked it against the ScanBC wiki as well.

Stuck, BC, etc., you guys may want to recheck that site.

Another reason that RR might be so out of sync with what info you have, besides the fact no one appears to be submitting things (no valid submissions have been sent in since January), is that what ScanBC has as AFS is different from what RR gets, given the same decimal value.

Example: Coquitlam Fire Tac 2 is listed as dec 1041, AFS 08-013 in the forum post on ScanBC. Both RR and this independent website conversion tool I googled come up with 08-021 instead. And since everyone seems to agree that 1034 = 08-012, it stands to reason that 08-013 should actually be 1035.

It might behoove ScanBC to re-evaluate all those AFS values...

Just to try and confuse things I will post this . It seems that lcn 6 on the south Surrey site 866.9375 will sometimes not be in use on south Surrey and come up on the Bowen site as lcn 7 . This happened last during the fireworks Saturday night when Bowen was very busy . 866.2375 lcn 11 on Richmond seems to work the same way as it was not used as part of Richmond but came up as lcn 6 on Bowen saturday night . Sunday morning everything was back to normal . Has anyone else seen this happen on an EDACS system ?
