Somebody needs to see if Laughlin AFB in Val Verde County has a trunked system.

Live Oak and McMullen Counties are reported to be using P25 now. McMullen is mixed mode on their same frequency, but Live Oak is utilizing a new pair for P25 that is rebroadcasting the analog side. They have two new pairs under an application for modification to KA2731. The second frequency that is not yet in use has both P25 and DMR emissions in the application. Some stuff to watch out for.

BearComm South Texas (System ID 303) Freer and Robstown sites are reporting a new neighbor (14) control channel currently 300 (452.8875). Probably their site in Encino (Brooks County). Will try and confirm next time heading down that way.

Speaking of Brooks County, for some reason, they seems to have disappeared. I can't hear any traffic from them....at all. Any ideas?

I used to hear them loud and clear on the .010 line. Recently, they’ve gone completely quiet. A few others in the area(Kleberg) can’t hear them as well. I’m unsure what the .0475 line is for though.

A bit further north....anyone know what the BP Checkpoint near Falfurrias is using?
The only Federal freq listed in Brooks county is this.

All BP here in deep south Texas are using encryption including Brownsville Pd,Ems and Fire......
