Sprint Fanview//Shoping cart freq

Thought this would fit in this thread or forum..got to use the sprint fan view at the joilet race. Checked the unit out.. Seems like its not very good range wise out in parts of the parking lot signals not good.. The unit is scanning 2.5 to about 2.699 or so give or take ghz. and The unit I had was on 2539mhz.

Any one work on these or know more details how they work..

Also I have seen these carts for pushing shopping carts and noticed uhf type ruber duck on them I didnt catch them on uhf dot wondered what they use for a freq.

Here is some google found info. Looks pretty neat. I imagine that the rubber duck is for monitoring the team comms.
