St. Joseph Talk Groups

I've searched everywhere to find an answer and have not found anything.
I programmed my scanner for the new Indiana Safe T for St Joseph County Indiana.
The talk groups listed for St Joseph County in the Database do not work. Using ID SEARCH I'm coming up with 100-1, 101-15, etc... nothing like the database. Does anyone have an updated Talk group list that includes this format? I'd like to narrow my scanning to St Joseph County Police and Fire, but it would be nice to have a label for the others I'm picking up.

Change your scanner to DEC not HEX in the talkgroup display if you have that on your scanner and that should show up as 16176 for County PD

Ok, thanks. I see what I did wrong. I had the scanner programed for MOT Type 1 and not TYPE II.
Type I only sees the 101-15 format and the Type II shows the long number.

So far, I'm only hearing St Joe county police on Safe-T. I believe that everyone else is still using conventional, except for Mishiwaka (they have their own trunked system)

Agencies on Safe-T in St Joe County

Currently St Joe County pd all the small towns including Walkerton are on the new Safe-T system. Mishawaka upgraded their system a few years ago to be compatible and have allowed County pd to put their talk groups in the County radios....

It is rumored that South Bend may make a switch in 2012

South Bend has recently done some testing on the system, but they have agreed to wait until all 4 of the simulcast tower are in place and opperational before the transmission is made. This should take place in 2011...

When I'm in St Joe county, my 396XT will pick up some Marshall County traffic and Elkhart as well. So I am not surprised that you are hearing all of that. ISP D21 is the toll road, so yes, you'll catch that traffic too.
