St Louis Co SLATER FD Tac Channels

Have been monitoring St Louis Co SLATER FD Tac channels for years. Over the last couple of weeks I have heard first alarm structure fires being dispatched with a tac channel being assigned. During late evenings and into early mornings (after midnight) I am not hearing a peep on most tac channels. Especially tac 10. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I am using the same scanners as always. 396xt and SDS100. Everything is working properly.

Does SLATER have some kind of new SOP for fires? Oh, there is no enc traffic on the assigned tac channels during this time frame. Any ideas?

Which site are you monitoring when this occurs North or South?

Both. But my strongest signal is always south. But I can usually pick up both no problem. When things are right I pick up all tac channels on both sites. I am just racking this issue up to a bad reception spot in a certain room of my house. Still can't figure out why the dispatch is loud and clear but tac channels are mostly mute in this room. I just find it odd.
