Stamford System Expanding?

I hear a rumor that talks were happening about expanding Stamford’s system.
Greenwich, Norwalk & Westport were going to give their 800 channels to Stamford to put on the system then they were going to build 10 new sites for the system and cover Greenwich, Dairen, Norwalk & Westport.
Adding 11 more channels to the system would handle all that.

I think it’s a great idea but who knows if its real or just talk, but it’s the correct talks!

APX, that wouldn't overload the system with all those services on there? Or is Stamford only going to be on it? Never heard of this that is why I am asking.

I can't speak for these PDs but I can say that this is not something that is actively being discussed as an option.

I think the really ment that giving that info might make it harder for him to get information in the future.
I always like the information he puts out, its always been correct so far, why would I care where it comes from.

So you can't say for the PDs that are talking about it but its not being talked about?

I assure you it is being thrown around as an idea in at least 2 of the towns listed along with maybe going on the UASI system.

Can't imagine Greenwich would go for this given they are planning a new system themselves.
