That's a patch from RED Center's South Dispatch freq (156.135). I've been hearing activity on it all day today since early this morning.

It’s RED Center, patched to their South Dispatch.
So far, it only seems to affiliate with Site 1-049. For whatever reason, I don't hear the RED dispatchers through the patch since I only hear the initial dispatch/tone outs and mobiles/portables. On top of that, the initial dispatch is much louder compared to the mobiles.
Apologies if this has been mentioned, but was up north this weekend and caught 2 new (to me anyway) talkgroups from site 5-1, 157 and 158. Both in the clear, both P2. I was never able to pull a useful alias off any of the radios that affiliated with 157 but it appeared to be RIDs in the Des Plaines range. RIDs for 158 looked to be LTACC and La Grange PD.
Is there anyone in the Iroquois County area who could provide more specifics on this? Which agencies are using this talkgroup and for what purpose? Dispatch? Is it currently a multicast of a conventional repeater? If so, which one? Any other new talkgroups active in that area?
I've added an Iroquois County category to the STARCOM21 database page, but more information is needed about talkgroup 37680.

Iroquois County Sheriff decided to transition to Starcom approx 1 year ago. Earlier this year they began the installation/testing/training phase for the new system. The new talkgroup for sheriff dispatch is in fact 37680 and I am receiving it off the Ashkum site. Comms are in the clear and I believe they are Phase 2.
Their legacy dispatch repeater (155.535) has been off the air for several months. They have been using the back-up repeater (155.775) and this is what is being simulcast to Starcom. As time allows, I will try to monitor the system for additional info.
Thanks for the update, I've added TG 37680 to the SC21 database. Additional Information about other Iroquois County STARCOM21 talkgroups, etc. would be a would be most welcome!
TGs 156 to 162 on the Cook County node are basically "miscellaneous use" channels. Sometimes, they're used for testing, other times they're used as back-ups or for on-scene/event ops.

The new SWIFT template is being used by Kane County Agencies. They came up on TG 30300 calling it IL calling requesting a TG for a search and rescue mission. They were asked if they needed secure or clear. Kane County stated clear was fine. They were assigned TG 30333 Incident A2
Officially they are Interops 4-10. Used for agencies that don't need an encrypted talk group. Used for festivals, car shows, etc.

This is how I have it self-programmed. Not all agencies are using the new template. Still hearing the "old" within the past week.
ISP Radio 2-R-2 (2-Robert-2) was heard on Troop 1's 1-A talk group testing a radio that was showing radio ID of 1337005. When the TC was asked what the alias was coming up on the display, she replied "ISP NXT 177P." I assume this was an APX NEXT portable radio newly issued to 1-77? I have been seeing 133xxxx series radios coming up that don't coincide with the troopers "normal" radio ID structure of the last 4 numbers being the badge number.Zone 1 APX NEXT radio ID's 133xxxx ?
I'm guessing that SWIFT might be a typo for SWIT, which stands for Statewide Interoperability Template.
