So a little updated observation:

When I got about a mile away from where I was staying (near Indian Mission Rd & John J Williams Hwy) I would pick the signal up fine. It was just when I was at the house I was staying in that I would be out of range.
I suppose it’s just a dead spot at that location 🤷‍♂️
The location you reference is well within the Sussex site footprint - I would not expect to have any issues receiving at that point. The site should be receivable north of Milford and Slaughter Beach.

Have a G5 programmed for Kent and New Castle and im trying to program paging for Kent. I have the paging tones. Im looking for the conventional freq, as Kent pages on 151.400. Do they also page on 453.375? If so i should be good but not sure if they have moved out off VHF paging.

I went up to the tiki roadside stand north of Milford yesterday. My G5 never went out of range, although it did switch to the Kent site around the Bayhealth campus. I still heard all the Sussex fire tgs. I would make sure a G4/G5 is programmed with all sites, not just the site that generally covers individual counties.

As of 11 in Sussex fire 2, fire two ops, fire 3, fire 3 ops ems 2 and 3 and all hospitals except for tidal health have switched off the old system . County is waiting for Dorchester to become compliant before tidal switches

The Ocean City "Sussex" tg is now configured to operate using Delaware's P25 system. Sussex will still enable the link when Ocean City units respond into Delaware to assist as they have done previously. Eventually Ocean City radios will have a Sussex zone, but the current patching scheme will remain in place.

As I said before, the only out of range spot I found was at Routes 5 and 24.

I didn't experience this when I was on Rt 5 south from Rt 1 to Rt 24, and Rt 24 to Millsboro. AFAIK, both radios stayed in range. Perhaps the Milton tower site was offline when you went through the area and has now been restored.

Anyone know who is using tg 539? It has had 472 channel grants since May 16, and last used on August 10th. It is not on the cheat sheet.

Also, tg 921 is id'd as "N-DSP" (New Castle DSP Operations?) but has 2,215 hits as of today - perhaps this now has a different purpose?

I only know it's DSP based on RID's thus the generic tag. We will likely never know, but it was active enough to add to the dB.
There will be many more UID TG's on this system.

I was away for a week and see affiliations on the old system have greatly decreased in NCC. I believe we are just waiting on Wilmington and a little DOC (in Wilmington).

It's mostly DTC and DNREC Police that still appear on the Sussex site, along with some hospitals and EMS units on Fire tgs. And the DSP has denied radios (could be consoles).

Hello,

City of Wilmington's Site now lists on UniTrunker as Site 14. 859.7625 MHz CCh is P25 and shows NAC of 68E.
Has anyone notices their talkgroups on the NCC simulcast as well, or is city traffic limited to the Wilmington site similar as before? I was hoping they'd just be on the simulcast this time around with the added capacity from phase2.

City of Wilmington's comms are limited to Wilmington's Site. As of now Encrypted WPD uses it in P25 Phase II Mode. No simulcast to NCCo. WFD will switch from NCCo's N-TAC5 to Wilmington's Site soon.
