I've found what sounds like a Motorola type 2 control channel on 853.0000 in Hamilton. The TAFL lists the following information for the frequency:
808.000000 853.000000 16.00 431633 794905 HAMILTON, ON - HILTON WORKS STELCO 7.1 STELCO INC. HILTON WORKS PURCHASING
(That's TX frequency, RX frequency, bandwidth, latitude, longitude, location, radiated power and licensee)
I put trunker on this control channel and picked up approximately a 85-90% decode rate but trunker would not determine the control channel. It listen the system ID as 2436. Here's the contents of the 2436Sys.txt file that I've generated after a half-hour of monitoring.
UnNamed System
MAP=22222222
OPTIONS=nVDf
PLAN=0
DESCR=Type II 76.76 Hz
THRESHOLD=50
DISPOSITION=ascsdsfulxnspssr
v0x004 ,4,4,10a
v0x018 ,18,54,188
v0x031 ,31,18,11e
v0x037 ,37,31,100
v0x03a ,3a,53,155
dv0x050 ,50,4,9
v0x053 ,53,37,1da
v0x054 ,54,3a,16c
I'm not sure why trunker is having issues with this system. There's plenty of traffic (30+ radios at this point) but there's no frequency showing up for the control channel. I changed the plan to 800 MHz and splinter 800 MHz to see if it would make a difference, but no luck. My experiences with Fleetnet and trunker lead me to believe that even without a proper map file the control channel frequencies, at least, will show up in trunker.
Suggestions are gratefully accepted...
