I had AE58A2 on my local ADS-B starting at 0555 local this morning, maybe 02?
Rgr that was B-52H 61-0013 FUSTY 02...

FUSTY 01 on rtb today last logged Maine 2000z but not seen since.
I was away from radio so no real search for it.

A couple more from Dover airshow... Was not a great show for static displays and Sunday being no big airshow stoppers
crowd was light.. Couple observations..
Dover has the cleanest massive flightline base I have ever seen. Concrete ramps are whistle clean and no cracks like when
I was down at MacDill a few years ago.Base roads, sidewalks, grass all mint condition.Cleanest base I have ever seen.
I got parked way down near ramp/gate T which is near far end so had to walk a mile or so just to get to show ramp.
Dover ramps are easy to find.. A-Z along runway/ramp 32.

First time at airshow actually saw two USAF T-6 Texan demo from Vance AFB.. Those 2 seat pilot trainer Texans were impressive as they did a couple high speed flyby/banking maneuvers.. Like P-51 Mustangs on steroids.. Really can boogie and can now see why they are a great first step for USAF fighter training and of course US Navy fighter pilots..
I think Navy Norfolk airshow is up next this coming weekend.. Airshow season winding down.

Our local New Jersey F-16 Red Devil..

1114 EDT--Transmission on 126.2. "I am US Coast Guard helo to N383CV, you have entered restricted airspace, if you hear me rock your wings."
Strange to be on 126.2. Sounds like should be on 121.5. Same warning broadcast twice.

Probably training. I remember years ago, USCG used 126.2 a lot for training. I noticed for almost all the POTUS CAP's, there is always a USCG helo that meets the offending aircraft on the ground. Around here the CG helo uses the callsign BOUNCER or BOUNCER 01

Tech,

Thanks. First time for me to hear them on 126.2. ADS-B wasn't showing any CG helos airborne at the time.

1523 EDT--Flash 22 (E-4B # 73-1677 Offutt AFB NE) land at ADW.

1526 EDT--Dark 96 (unid) land at ADW. Nothing showing on ADS-B. Could be another operator on Flash 22 using different callsign.

1534 EDT-- Pakistani Air Force IL-78MP # R09-001 (Pakistani Air Force 892) land at BWI. Probably going to Northrop Grumman to pick up/deliver parts for F-16s.

1551 EDT-- PAT 265 (UC-12 # 84-24380) land at Phillips AAF. Looking for quick turn around back to Pope AFB NC.

Guys,

Has anyone heard the NJ ANG F-16s lately?

I used to hear them at least a couple of times a week but haven't heard them in a long time.

Not sure if it's because their activity level has lessened or that my radio horizon has changed due to buildings, trees, etc.

I have the same concerns on Pax River activity. I see quite a bit of ADS-B activity out of Pax but hearing very little of what I used to hear.

Radio prop seems lousy lately even with local VHF/UHF Ham repeaters I use.
I did hear COSMIC flight pair the other day so still around :)

Logged a new French Air Force C-130J today 1955z headed North still using Lockheed
factory test callsign.. Last logged up near Maine/Canada 2105z
(3B75ED) LAC5874 FL250.
I think they ordered 4 of them including two KC-130J types.

Seems this was the first KC-130J type for French AF on delivery.
Logged into France yesterday

The NIGHHAWK crew was up here in NJ/NY last night 09/19, flight of 5 on the Hudson & East Rivers. They were in and out of either LGA or JFK 143.825. Also had AF2 depart LGA around the same time.
