Looks like 3 KC 10s Team21 & 22 and Force 23 are flying towards the Jersey coast with a C 17 Jinx 31. I'm too far inland to pick anything up besides ADSB Exchange.
Also on 288.0 heard a mention of DEVIL flights. FORCE 23 was circling for a while.

Anybody see where C-17 10-0222 departed from today? Just completed an AR, with some QID tankers from UK, east of Gibraltar.
07-7188 also

Another C-17 departed from Ft Campbell a little while ago. Probably re-inforcements for Baghdad.

The U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division’s alert brigade has been issued orders to deploy rapidly to Kuwait following an attack on the American embassy in Baghdad by a pro-Iranian mob.

At least 750 paratroopers are already making their way to the Middle East, Secretary of Defense Mark Esper confirmed in a statement on Tuesday, saying additional forces are prepared to deploy over the next several days.

'This deployment is an appropriate and precautionary action taken in response to increased threat levels against U.S. personnel and facilities, such as we witnessed in Baghdad today,' said Esper.

A total of 4,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne's Deployment Ready Brigade have been put on notice for imminent deployment in the next 96 hours, three U.S. defense officials told Fox News.

The snap deployment comes amid rapidly rising tensions between Iran and the U.S. and a series of violent tit-for-tat escalations between the two countries.

QID = Quid

Rgr that QUID is 100ARW Tanker callsign out of Mildenhall UK.
Seems more to come over next few days..Dover has a space A C-17 flight listed to Ft Campbell later this morning.

Happy New years and guess it is time for a 2020 Sticky thread :)

0915 local RCH327 C-17 01-0193 tracking Northeast thru Delaware from the Carolinas.
Gonna take a lot of C-17's to get 750 paratroopers into Kuwait area.

Have you guys seen this kind of mobilization this quick and with this amount of planes before? Just wondering what is up their sleeves. Looks more like an invasion force than a defending of an embassy force.

The most I have ever seen over a New years week.Usually lucky to get 1-3 heavies in same 24 hour period.
Yesterday logged 13 C-17's in the 24 hour period plus 10 more today not all related to above but most were.
Most of these flights are Special Ops/Para-rescue/Airborne jumpers who you want in place in case things get busy over there.
Sending a message for sure and with how quickly they are moving. Prob continue for days to come.
We already have lots of tanks in Kuwait and am sure US Navy bringing things closer as well.

Must be bringing in the heavy guns now. There is a pair of C5s RCH977 and RCH979 heading over seas near the NC/VA border. Unsure exactly where they came from.
