Good evening,

Was working and wasn't able to monitor the A-10s returning this afternoon, but I don't think they all made it
back to Moody AFB ........ the rest should be trying again on Friday together with the second cell TABOR 71.

Rgr Rene saw BLUE 21 make Lajes today so assume day of rest and Friday sounds about right.
Wish the A-10's would stick with UHF ATC and I could catch them when not here :)

AF1 racking up the frequent flyer miles again tomorrow, scheduled departure at 12:45pm Eastern headed to Dallas for a couple events, arrival at 2:30 CDT, then headed east at 7pm CDT for Newark NJ arriving at 10:55 eastern with a short hop to Bedminster with a 11:20pm eastern arrival there.

I am sorry, TABOR 81 was a flight of six A-10s after all. Switched to Washington center on 127.700.

I noticed the same thing the other day with the MD ANG A-10s at Martin State. Returning from the Warren Grove Range they landed using the VHF tower freq (121.3) and not the published UHF freq (254.425). I had receivers on both freqs and was surprised to hear them use the VHF freq.

AF1 and friends headed north over VA. Looks like 92-9000 headed back to ADW with 82-8000 heading to Newark.
