DEATH 21 (FUTURE 21) flight through my area now:
353.525 ZID > 307.225 ZID
341.750 aux
13927 FUTURE 21 calling MARS RADIO, no response
294.325u/260.725d CONR-2 (secure) passing brevities to ops
Maybe DEATH 11 was spare hanging around as re listening DEATH 21 mentioned Syracuse as well
for DEATH 11.
Also heard "FUTURE 21 decimal 1" I guess returning Langley.I think bombers all went out to W-386 with
SPUR 88,89,90 tankers before heading home.

1030- Pakistani AF C-130 PAAF 046 off BWI heading home. Just passed over my house. At 1033 PAAF 046 requests to return to BWI.

1038- Just passed over my house on approach to R33L. Had grayish-silver paint job, not the dark jungle camo one of them used a couple of weeks ago.

Hi All,

Yesterday was an incredible Milcom day up here. A rarity for sure! I was outside cooking a BBQ when the action started and had a couple handhelds on the patio going to satisfy my interest until I could go inside and get on the radios. My logs and recordings were from 3:14 - 4:49 PM EDT quite a bit after all the action started. All the planes met up in W-102 which they had deemed, "BOSTON AAR". Below is my attempt at putting it all together. I only listed what I caught on recordings.

I will list what organization the freq belongs to and right after it, who used it and for what. Logged times are from 3:14 – 4:49 PM local time.

Planes involved:
THUNDERBIRD 1-6 Nellis AFB, NV
STORM 31 (x4) SJ F-15E Seymour Johnson AFB, NC
FUTURE 21 WM B-2 Whiteman AFB, MO
FUTURE 31 (x4) FF F-22 Langley AFB, VA
FUTURE 41 (x4) HL F-35 Hill AFB, UT
TERROR 31 (x2) DY B-1 Dyess AFB, TX
NAMM 41, ICER 61 (Spare) MT B-52 Minot AFB, ND
SPUR 80, 81, 82, 83, 90 Various units KC-135 and KC-10 in W-102 aka “BOSTON AAR”

Frequencies Logged:
139.875 McGuire Interplane – SPURs Air to Air (A-A)
141.175 THUNDERBIRDS 1-6 A-A
228.900 HUNTRESS - W-102 “BOSTON AAR” Main HUNTRESS Coordination Freq.
254.200 HUNTRESS - Boom freq SPUR ?? and THUNDERBIRDS AAR coming up from South.
263.050 Boston ARTCC (ZBW) UHF - Main freq used for entering/leaving W-102 (VHF was 128.200)
265.400 HUNTRESS - THUNDERBIRD 2 radio check with HUNTRESS.
267.000 TERROR 31 & 32 A-A.
278.000 HUNTRESS - Boom freq SPUR 80 and FUTURE 41 (x4) then TERROR 31, 32
278.000 HUNTRESS - (4:02-4:33 PM) SPUR 90 and TERROR 32 boom freq W-102 after all flights left.
281.600 HUNTRESS – Boom freq SPUR 82 and FUTURE 21, then he refueled THUNDERBIRDS 1-6
283.900 AR-616 Primary Freq. Unidentified call for radio check.
316.300 HUNTRESS – Players heard - FUTURE 21, 31, 41, T-BIRD 4. (Sounded like A-A coordination freq for all within/leaving W-102)
320.600 HUNTRESS – Called, “2 Common” by STORM 31. Players heard - FUTURE 21, 41 (x4), STORM 31 (x4), NAMM 41, TBIRD 1 (x6) talking about fuel, altitudes, weather, and the “push point”.
324.000 HUNTRESS – Boom freq SPUR 81 and STORM 31 (x4)
326.700 Hill F-35 freq - FUTURE 41 (x4) A-A
327.900 HUNTRESS – Boom freq SPUR 83 and FUTURE 31 (x4)

I uploaded an audio file to listen to from one of my scanners. It’s a continuous, “as it happened” recording from an older scanner using ScanRec. Mostly heard are ZBW UHF, Tbird 141.175, and 281.6 Boom freq. Please click on the link to hear it:

It was an incredible Milcom Day for the quiet Northeast! Enjoy the recording. I have many more but too much to upload!

Ed nice catches but thought I saw posted the F-35's FUTURE 41 were Marine Corp F-35B's.
Can't seem to find confirmation on them though except this news blurb from Boston.

BOSTON (CBS) — Military aircraft roared over the Boston area Saturday afternoon as part of a July 4th celebration. Boston was the first stop of the “Salute To Great Cities Of The American Revolution” from the Department of Defense.
U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps jets flew over the U.S.S. Constitution in the Charlestown Navy Yard before heading to Fenway Park. It was led by U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, followed by B-1, B-2 and B-52 bombers, F-15 and F-22 fighters and U.S. Marine Corps F-35 fighters.
