Scheduled to be here in Scranton on Thurs. Should be bringing a C17 or 2 plus the 757 to KAVP so that will be nice to see.
SPUR 90 58-0071 The Dover stop airspare tanker for recent CAP off of Dover back to MacDill AFB.
Never needed this past weekend.. Maybe crew got some crabs and beer based there for a few days :)

The rest have left BGR as well.

SPUR 86, 63-8026 (151 ARW), SLC-BGR, to WIDE 74-77-78, to MCF as SPUR 86
SPUR 87, 59-1450 (161 ARW), PHX-BGR, to WIDE 75-79, returned PHX as ZOMBE 02
SPUR 88, 59-1453 (186 ARW), MEI-BGR, to WIDE 72, returned MEI as SPUR 88
SPUR 89, 57-1428 (134 ARW), TYS-BGR, to WIDE 73-76-80, returned to TYS as ZOMBE 01*

"ZOMBE 01" was confirmed on LiveATC, ADSB-X showed it still using WIDE 80 from yesterday, I guess they didn't update their ID. Interesting that 2 used the same SPUR flight number while the other 2 used ZOMBE.

Apparently Air Force One was nearly hit by a drone on Sunday while landing at Andrews. A news article on the incident contains the following quote: "The FAA hopes to unveil regulations requiring that civilian drones transmit their location and identity by the end of the year. The new requirement is designed to help prevent the devices from being used by terrorists and to reduce the risks they pose to traditional aircraft." Do they honestly think that someone with evil intentions is going down to the local hobby shop and use a stock drone that contains a working transponder? OK, I feel a lot safer now! 🙄

AF 1 heads to Iowa and Arizona today.

Here is a good link that details the damage that can be caused by drone crashing into aircraft.

Did anyone catch the two what looked like F16 doing two low flying passes of Center City Philadelphia today around 1:45p-2:00p local time?

They made two passes from north to south.

I think I just had my first UAV sighting
about 1730. sounded like a conventional craft coming out of the North. cigar-shaped fuselage, long narrow squared wings.
turned southwest (headed to Crisfield?)
wish I'd had my camera, tho probly too small to see much.
I might have seen one before and not been able to identify.

Seems McGuire KC-10's were for the B-1's in Guam/Japan area for the two who went back to Ellsworth as RUDDY 11,12.
BMBOO 11,12 went back home to Dyess Texas.
Funny the USAF keeps maligning the KC-10's and want to retire them yet when chips are down for large bomber/fighter refuels
they always send the KC-10's.. Meanwhile the new KC-46A's are cargo only mission rated for the next few years.
