We get those RED DOG choppers here in NJ all the time. They are USMC Cobras. They actually went overhead last night.
A/A is usually 264.2. There is also a low band A/A but I can't recall it at the moment. I'll check my notes.
I believe they're based out of a local MAG unit at McGuire.
36.15 is the low band A/A

WIDE75 with KC-135R 59-1450 on station for POTUS CAP on ADS-B. Not sure if the airframe is currently assigned to Maine ANG or Arizona ANG, but it came out of Bangor.

Callsigns noted on ADS-B so far: WIDE71, 72, 73, 74, and 75.

WIDE75 with KC-135R 59-1450 on station for POTUS CAP on ADS-B. Not sure if the airframe is currently assigned to Maine ANG or Arizona ANG, but it came out of Bangor.

59-1450 operated PHX-BGR as part of that SPUR group on Wednesday, so probably still Arizona ANG. To recap.

SPUR 86, 63-8026 (151 ARW), SLC-BGR, to WIDE 74
SPUR 87, 59-1450 (161 ARW), PHX-BGR, to WIDE 75
SPUR 88, 59-1453 (186 ARW), MEI-BGR, to WIDE 72
SPUR 89, 57-1428 (134 ARW), TYS-BGR, to WIDE 73-76

Callsigns noted on ADS-B so far: WIDE71, 72, 73, 74, and 75.

I never noticed WIDE 71 on adsb-x ? What one was that ? There was another one, SPUR 90 to DOV but I haven't seen it leave yet ?

In other news, 6 MacDill KC-135's operated out of MCF to the Middle East yesterday. Don't usually see that many go over in one day ?

I noticed that WIDE callsign doesn't show up on any lists that I have access to.

T-Brids performance delayed to engine issues with one of the jets, watching flightline cam it appeared to be #4 and they took #8 jet as replacement. Planes on the way to OC Airshow area now.

Interesting as have never seen or recall anyway SPUR Tankers sent out for CAP duty.
Like those 3 KC-10's that went to Japan SPUR 91-93 not going for CAP duty.
I think we talked about SPUR some while ago standing for Special Priority User Request as the acronym or something like that.
Usually get bombers or traveling fighters with the SPUR guys.
Maybe someone juggling Pentagon aircraft budget assignments.. :)
Yeah SPUR 90 from MacDill 58-0071 into Dover has not been seen since arriving.. Maybe airspare.

Good news for Mass ANG is they are on list to get the new F-15EX fighter in a couple years.. Oregon ANG is first up.

Incident earlier today at 16:15z. Fighters on the enforcement assignment at Trump National over Bedminster, NJ attempted to intercept a Vans RV7 flying VFR out of BLM on a 330 heading at FL043. The aircraft busted the TFR and reportedly did not initially answer up. The fighters were forced to deploy flares ahead of him over a residential area and force him into a turn after he came within less than a mile of POTUS.

Unknown (obviously) if POTUS was moved during the incident.

Couple of 22ARW KC-46's into McGuire for cargo offloads around 1920 local.
RCH 036 17-46036 req K-Loader
RCH 037 17-46031 no cargo offloads.

OC Airshow Heritage flight vid.. A-10 looks like DM on tail so assume Davis Monthan demo bird.
The P-51 N151AM does look small in the formation.. Nice vid though.

Air Teams were sure glad to get out and about.. so many airshows cancelled this year..

Senior Airman Mathieu Cyrus of the F-35 Demonstration Team on WBOC news page.
"Just to have some gleam of hope, like a pandemic may be over soon hopefully," Cyrus said. "It’s our third show and we are just excited to be out here to showcase our aircraft."

Imagine middle of August and only the 3rd F-35 demo.. :(
Like the D-Day stripes on the A-10 and that odd camo paint job on top of it :)
