Funny you see vid/photos all over the web of the recently deployed Buffs with fighter escorts from
various Nations yet one time with no escorts they get Hot Dogged by a Russian fighter.. Where were the escorts then?
Bet if the B52 popped off a bunch of flares it would have certainly woke them up.

T-Bird 14 popped up just east of Toms River headed north (looks like NYC) getting ready for next weekends airshow.

EDIT: Interesting, was right in NYC now way up north by Newburgh. Altitude staying below 3000'.

Rare one into KDOV tonight. just after midnight.Sounded like DAGO One Niner self id as C-130.
Mode s showed MC-130J 13-5776 from 353SOG Kadena. Was logged in Japan a few days ago.
Req power cart,follow me and parking at B-2.

17:45 local --13-5776 on ADSB-X now, out of Dover heading northeast offshore of NJ

12 noon local- Had what looked like a pair of F-22 heading south over NJ at about 5k ft. Only comms I heard was 123.45 intermittently in the distance but I doubt it was them.

1300- Nomad 78 (C-130T # 165378 VR-62 "Nomads" NAS Jacksonville FL) w/ADW tower declaring IFE. Advises that #2 engine has shut down so they need straight in approach. Will be going to the VR-53 hangar.

13:49 local Had a RAPTOR flight from FL34k down to 28k direct Salisbury ZDC UHF asking to hold for 15 minutes in W-386
for the delay then will go to Langley... Heard him push 249.800 which is GK.
Not sure what delay was for.. wx? Prob the Demo Raptors returning from Stewart airshow.

Saw a single F-18 inbound to KAVP this afternoon. Departed after 4:30. Anyone catch the callsign? I was away from the radios, only heard it on departure.

I was in downtown Scranton when he came over. He was screaming loud fighting the wind. U of S kids were staring and a few of us popped out of our cars to look at it. Didn't have the scanner on at the time for a callsign.

A KC-10 from McGuire 79-1947 doing racetrack central Ches Bay at FL26k.
Lots of Raptors up on two groups 233.525 and 257.075 A/A Prob Va ANG 192FW F-22's.
There is also a MAINE 88 KC-135 tanker doing racetrack off NJ in W-107
Someone on the KC-10 tanker boom freq 266.400 clear to contact.

E-2C that crashed must've been one of those not using mode-S. I checked all the codes of known VAW-120 E-2 and none have been active for a few days.

1053- Hagar 19 (C-5M # 86-0025 AE0576 9th AS DOV) w/DOV CP (349.4) advising they have an issue with the nose landing gear door and will be circling DOV to see if they can fix the issue. Maintenance is not required at this time.

1057- Epic 31 (C-17 # 92-3294 AE07D8 156th AS NC-ANG Charlotte NC ) passing over Norfolk heading out to W386. Earlier Hoser 12 (KC-10 # 638020 AE05AC 305th AMW WRI) had passed over Norfolk and is hanging out in W386. Some AAR training?

1108- Motown 03 (KC-135R # 59-1512 AE015E ) over Harrisburg PA working Torch Ops (251.2) w/inbound msg. Needs avionics folks to check instrument issue.

1130- Terra 97 (C-32 # 00-9001 AE04430 150th SOS NJ ANG WRI) in holding pattern just south of ADW. Apparently awaiting departure of AF1.

1145- SAM 45 (C-32 # 09-0015) & AF1 (C-32 # 09-0017) off ADW heading for Wis. POTUS keeping low profile. Sam 45 working ZDC Hagerstown (134.15) & AF1 working ZDC Moorefield (133.275).
