@Mark commented on this one last year...

AE6843 P-8 is making it's way along the coast from Jacksonville, currently at Cherry Point, looks like it is landing.

98-0001 in flight headed south from ADW, currently over NC. Not seeing anything (TFR, news) for VP travel or Dept of State travel today. Altitude decreasing as it approaches Wilmington. Could be Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt who will also be in Wilmington.

The MAZDA F-35B's wil be departing from MCAS Beaufort Weds morning so you may get them up the East Coast to meet
GOLD tankers from Bangor... For you Ed :)

Thanks Mark. Any idea if they have left yet? I might be late to the show already. I had no catches on my Coronet scanner overnight.

Strange flight routes today, considering only event we know of is in Wilmington. 98-0001 has departed Wilmington headed NW just about to cross the NC/VA line while 09-0016 has departed ADW heading SW following RCH788T (not a route I'd guess to Wilmington)

UPDATE: RCH788T landing at RDU (equipment for VP visit tomorrow) and 09-0016 also appears to be landing at POPE AFB Fayetteville (staging as AF1 backup? - though I would have thought they'd go to Cherry Point)

Meanwhile pool reports say it will be a motorcade to ADW from the White House.

Wasn't home at time but seems the GOLD 61,71 tankers never departed Bangor.
No GOLD Tankers showed today at all here.
Assume they scratched for today :(
Update: from Scramble..
24 hour delay VMFA-211 F-35B Lightning IIs to RAF Marham. Arrival is rescheduled for Thursday 3 September 2020.

Thanks for the update Mark. Unfortunately, I won't be home to listen tomorrow but the recorder will be on. Good luck catching comms tomorrow on your end.

Tomorrow Thursday, September 3rd, two TFRs issued for Vice Presidential travel to KRDU and Latrobe PA.

This weekend, TFR issued for Rutland/Fair Haven, Vermont near GLENS FALLS. No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM. Unknown who is going to Vermont.

The Latrobe trip is actually POTUS, with departure from ADW scheduled for 6pm. Leaving at 8:35 pm and arriving back to ADW at 9:25pm.
