There is a BLUE 42 KC-135 61-0323 coming East from Wash State assume 92nd,or93 ARWGood evening,
Coronet East 013 now re-scheduled for Saturday, December 12th with RETRO 91/92 to EGUL from KWRB.
Hope this helps,
René.
I very rarely watch civilian flights outside of the northeast so that would explain why I never noticed it before. Thanks for yours and everyone elses help. There is so much to learn. I am always blown away with the knowledge here. I have learned so much and have so much more to learn. It looks like the callsign change might have something to do with the way ADSB-X is decoding oceanic data ? You'll notice civilian flights will also change from a 3 letter to 2 letter code in these areas.
Rgr that was a long power mission.. 3 flying crews? Bet they are ready to get out of those tails2046- COMAL 11 checking on with Gander 133.150 (LiveATC). Should put them over the threads coverage area in about 3 hours. (Only around 34 hours since they passed by eastbound).

Would they turn off transponders while refueling or just a bug with ADSBX?
If you watch standard refueling operations you will notice the receivers track usually disappears after they hook up.
Also after joining up in formation it's common to hear ATC request that the wingman squawk standby. Although it doesn't always seem to be a standard procedure and at times you will sometimes see two or more together. I'm guessing it has something to do with it being a standard vs non standard formation and the in trail distance ?
It appears the BUFF tracks where based on MLAT fixes and not ADS-B. I'm not familiar with ADSB-X MILAT capabilities so I'm not sure why they only got a couple fixes on them westbound when they appeared to be able to track them better on the eastbound leg ?
Sorry more questions than answers, hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can chime in.
