I wonder how much the roof affects the range though. The ADSB isn't a huge antenna so if I could reach the peak to put it out there I would like to compare results. But thats somewhere in the future.

One of the Navy's long time odd regulars in and out of Andrews.. VR-1 in DC will take over flights.

According to my notes VR-1 at Andrews uses:
C-37 # 166375
C-37 # 166376
C-37 # 166377
C-37 # 166378
They usually fly as Navy ### or VV###
Guess they will use the Navy ### going and coming from NAS Sigonella but use Catbird when in theater.
At Andrews their Ops freq was 368.8 but haven't heard that one used in quite awhile.

HIVE67 should be the weekly medevac flight. It came in on schedule yesterday.
166375 to my knowledge is assigned to Commander Fleet Logistics Support Wing (CFLSW) and not VR-1 like the other three.

Yeah HIVE 68 also departed today but not showing mode s.. These came in just before the
Ramstein Med Evac C-17 flight to Andrews.. Maybe some patients then later transfer to the HIVES?
Bit off topic but just way higher up in the air.. The ISS is broadcasting slow scan tv images for the next few days.
ARRL 20th anniversary of ISS use. Got this image about an hour ago on 145.800 FM.
Tough to get station broadcast at right angle/location but keep trying.See some phase shift in image.

Do we have any clue as to why the IDAHO17/BE20 has been doing loops all morning? I wonder what it is gathering. Same thing with the NATN99/K35R in Florida. Also, any new news on the Nashville event? Kinda strange there was an issue yesterday in Baltimore then Nashville today. I wonder what will be next.

The tanker in Florida is over where the President is refueling fighter jets patrolling the skies.
I have only seen 1 C-130 land in the Nashville area. There is currently a tv and state police helo over it now. Apparently the RV that blew up sounded evacuation notices and possibly gunfire sounds before detonating to minimize casualties. Weird.
I don't know anything about the Idaho17. I have seen it but didnt get time to research it. That's what little I know.
