I wonder how much the roof affects the range though. The ADSB isn't a huge antenna so if I could reach the peak to put it out there I would like to compare results. But thats somewhere in the future.

The ADSB antennas work just fine in the attic, the higher up towards the roofline the better. I have 2 of them now up in my attic.

The tanker in Florida is over where the President is refueling fighter jets patrolling the skies.
I have only seen 1 C-130 land in the Nashville area. There is currently a tv and state police helo over it now. Apparently the RV that blew up sounded evacuation notices and possibly gunfire sounds before detonating to minimize casualties. Weird.
I don't know anything about the Idaho17. I have seen it but didnt get time to research it. That's what little I know.

The Idaho appears to have been circling all night but now a little west. Mainly on the diamond point of Ft. Stewart.

I think that sub was involved with something else related to Iran which seemingly hasn't made the news.

Been looking at this plane some more today, it's still out there. But in a Facebook group back in June it was taking part in operations in the DC area, and the July 2020 issue of Spectrum Monitor magazine mentions it was part of a mystery gov't operation in the Houston TX area. Sure gets around and makes me think it's more than just training or end of year hours.
