I got the tail # wrong was actually Dover C-17 #01-0191 but thought that 911 callsign was a bit different than usual.
Some more missions like this to come according to the USAF.

aaahhhhh so I DID hear RCH 911 correctly, that callsign really got my attention

Had DEVIL 11 departing A/C area 1500 local first on ZDC 363.00 then DuPont then 335.600.
DEVIL 11 was given a 293.00 freq earlier but reports No Joy then goes to DuPont.
Then later 1635 local DEVIL 11 flight push 285.400 on way back into A/C. The usual Center freqs.

The unit is based at Webster Field in St Inigoes in southern Maryland. Webster is also used as an Outlying Field (OLF) for NAS Pax River.

1550- Couple of MD ANG A-10Cs returning to Martin State were apparently told that there was some sort of issue on the runway and it would be 1/2 hour before they could open it up.

A-10s were w/Raven Ops (275.7) discussing options and decided to hang around for 30 mins then decided where to divert.
