1550- Couple of MD ANG A-10Cs returning to Martin State were apparently told that there was some sort of issue on the runway and it would be 1/2 hour before they could open it up.

A-10s were w/Raven Ops (275.7) discussing options and decided to hang around for 30 mins then decided where to divert.
Rgr Ron on tape 1600 local RAVEN-1 says something about waiting for aircraft to be towed off runway with POT Appch 317.425
Mentioned due to weapons load had to divert to Dover or Atlantic City.
At end they req IFR via Smyrna to Atlantic City..
1808 local RAVEN 1 at 4K descending with atis "Mike" landing back Martin State it seems.

Mark thanks for filling in the holes. I listened for about 30 mins but didn't hear anything.

I"m so close to BWI that their approach & departure freqs overwhelm my scanner & my ears. I hear both side of the VHF & UHF freqs.

Same goes for ZDC (Swann 134.5/360.7). So I don't have them in my scanner rotation.

WATERHOL(E) being called by E6 (ASCON16) request to come up on RF17. Aircraft would burn MUX normal - ground station would burn inverted.
Confirmed activity on 325.400 became active - aircraft id was transmitted on 311.00 and RF MUX channel at same time. Pinning the ICOM needle in WFM mode due to proximity.

Interesting......I've never seen an E6 do a race track over land. The top of the track is just on KWRI's border.
My work PC won't post the correct image but it is now a race track pattern. I too heard the call for WATERHOLE but didn't catch the freq since I was busy at work. Was that call on 311.00?

There is the racetrack pattern for you....yes the call was on 311.00 and then the MUX was active and he called similtaneouly on 311.00 (AM) and 325.400 (WFM) before switching to sideband phone call. Unless there is another E6 I cannot see - the one over McGuire is burning 325.400 and 338.950 at the same time. Have those aircraft engine generators doing double duty !!

Speaking of Special heavies today so far mode logged 3 American Airlines B777-300ER flights from JFK to Tulsa.
Headed for Storage perhaps seeing AAL has practically cancelled all their International flights.
