There were fighters on 339.725 so I'm guessing that's why there was a tanker (62-3580) orbiting off NJ. There was also some brief comms on Warren Grove range 283.1
There were also active on 288.0 which seems to be an AR freq used almost daily.

268.025 Mcguire Tanker A/A. Breaking off from Team-52. Sounds like he is having hydraulic issues. "Says he is dead in the water"

Coast Guard searches for two missing canoers near Annapolis, Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Coast Guard is searching for two canoers last sighted ten miles south of Annapolis near Herring Bay, Maryland, Thursday evening.

The missing canoers have been identified as a 41 year-old woman and her 8 year-old son.

Watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Maryland National Capitol Region command center received a report from Maryland State Police members that two individuals were seen struggling to return to shore in a canoe near Herring Bay and not seen again by the reporting individual.

An Air Station Atlantic City MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter aircrew and a Coast Guard Station Annapolis 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew were launched to assist in the search.

An Air Station Elizabeth City C-130 Hercules aircrew and a Coast Guard Station Inigoes boat crew are continuing the search Friday morning along with the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Angela McShan.

Also assisting in the search are members of the Queen Anne Police Department, Arundel Police Department, Maryland Natural Resource Police, and Maryland State Police.

Anyone with additional information regarding this case should contact the Sector Maryland command center at 410-576-2525.

Perhaps his hydraulic failure limited his turning capability so Harrisburg would have been more of a straighter line with minimal maneuvering.
13:11 local TEAM 52 inbound McGuire 30 minutes out reports alpha 3 for #28-64 writeup "drogue won't lock"
Yeah that will end your tanking mission. Hopefully won't bounce off the runway while landing.

1609- Unid acft calls ADW tower (118.4) & advises they are 30 mins out and want to know if there are any special restrictions for passengers because of the Corona virus. Advises that the crew is negative for the virus but was concerned because of the pax.

1630- CG 2007 has been searching all day and is now at FL120 so I guess he's heading back home to NC. Earlier had a Southwest acft w Potomac (125.65) relay a msg to Potomac from CG 6560 (MH-65D CGAS Atlantic City). Southwest acft & CG 6560 were on VHF guard (121.5). So I guess CG 6560 was part of the SAR in the Chesapeake.
