They came thru Columbia, little earlier than the 316pm stated time. The weather probably played a role in them speeding up the flyovers

Had HOIST 85 87-0120 and HOIST 86 85-0027 Southbound here and HOIST85,86 showing off Florida East Coast
dropping down hanging around just South of Jacksonville NAS at 12k feet.
I think the HOIST 85,86 flight was for Blue Angels who covered Florida East coast today on Covid flights.
A Big State so refueling needed.. Noticed were refueling at low alttitudes around 12k offshore.
They circled south of Jacksonville for long while then down again to Miami area for topoff to get them back home
to Pensacola.. Team USAF McGuire made it happen :)

MtnBiker sent me this neat link of various TV Choppers from across the Country.
Today I saw N119TV Ch11 and N713TV Ch13 hovering around Martin State airport for A-10 departure for Covid flyovers.
Seems the days of TV stations owning their own are going away but Ch 6 Philadelphia still has their own as are some others.
Why buy Chopper when you can lease for lots less! Interesting pics and discussions about air mobile GPS microwave yagi antennas for live feeds.
Usually around here hear them A/A 123.025.Sort of like the old CB CH 19 for TV choppers :)

Guys,

Off topic but might interest you NJ guys.

One of local guys posted that the Tug Patrick McCallister is in Chesapeake Bay towing a submarine section to Groton CT.

Probably could follow this guy on AIS

Interesting, the Patrice Mcallister made it up the Chesapeake to almost Kent Island, but then turned around and headed back south - still showing destination as Groton. MarineTraffic: Global Ship Tracking Intelligence | AIS Marine Traffic

Notice a couple unid specials parked near Mouth of Elk river.Maybe waiting for tides or wx and another special tug to take it thru Canal
and into Delaware Bay,Those various McCallister Tugs all over the Ches Del bays. They own Baltimore and Philly for Canal barge traffic :)
Last year talking to guy who operates the NS Train bridge over the C+D Canal (Delmarva Secondary) a fellow Ham operator.
He says since Canal is run by the Fed Army Corp Engineers the ships get right of way and freight trains will have to wait for ship traffic.
Easier to stop a train than a ship.. Hear them locally on NS 160..800 and Canal traffic Ch 13 Marine 156.650
Once in a while that NS Train bridge gets stuck in the lowered postion then all commercial Canal traffic gets halted.
Its only about 100 years old :)

Guys,

Since not much milair today have been listening to the BWI approach/departure freqs.

Heard aircraft using callsign Castle 58 working departure. ADB-B ident this guy as Castle Air flt CSJ58. This guy came out of Dulles.

Would be easy to confuse these guys with the DE ANG C-130s.

Might not be the best place for this question but I'll ask anyway....does the Uniden Sentinel db contain aero frequencies?
