You guys must have slept in this morning.. checking my tape after work.
08:35 local DEATH-11,12,13 B-2's were in the area I think chatting A/A 341.750 mentioned time for A/R CT 1410z.
I think may have ben over Pa mention being at Fl 320. DEATH-11 says will clear off DEATH-12 early due to fuel.
Will continue on with DEATH-13. "We still have two good jets".

10:23am local SPORT-1 flight of 4 A-10's off Martin State says on Pot at fl3k we will be turning South to Southwest.
Sounds like road trip for them.

Nothing on the Friday schedule for a weekend get away, but TFR has been issued.
Saw a single Osprey WB from KILG today.. Usually a Thursday sign..

There were a couple unknown callsign 22ARW KC-135's that ran from Kansas to AR-20 today
and back home via Northern track... 60-0313 (AE0683) and 58-0011 (AE04FC) Seemed to just be ahead of the B-2's at the time.
DEATH B-2's logged back toward Michigan way at 11:30 local by Chuck in Detroit on Michigan board.
Just wondering if B-2's require special KC-135 tanker Boom op credentials as would expect the 22 ARW to have out there?
I'm sure the 22 ARW guys train all the time with the Whiteman B-2's.

Checking the LiveATC Archives, REACH 11 checked on with Moncton as a flight of 5, callsigns confirmed as REACH 10-11-13 and DEATH 11-12. They split up around YQY, REACH 10-11-13 RTB westbound and DEATH 11-12 contunued eastbound direct TAGRA then climbed into high level airspace. Also noticed a couple of WRI KC-10s REACH 024-025 heading eastbound around the same time, further south in New Yorks airspace then returned further north through Moncton.

While trying to find audio from the B-2 flight on HF I came across Gander on 11279 working ATOP 11 over the North Pole.

They appeared to be flying along 101W longitude northbound then at the Pole turned around to fly 102W longitude southbound. Minot AFB is around 101W so I'm guessing B-52s ?

From yesterday's recordings: 395.1 CP; Baton 52/Ops; (garbled) mikes out, 27K on the fuel, Alpha 1, looking for parking. On the PA a/g 700MHz Muir Ops tg: Boise 81 dep Cap City en route to Muir w/27 min eta. Comms on 121.5 took up about half the recordings, mostly a/a for going to an atc freq. EAM on 311.0 end of message call sounded like "frog leg"?

When DEATH 11 passed through ZID yesterday, they were trying to get their secure stack comms to work. Most of it was on 341.750 (referred to as "Black 1"), but they also said "push secure stack" and showed up on CONR-2 (297.525u/263.925d). Also did an HF comm check on 13204. As they were leaving my range, I heard them push to 225.450; that's a McConnell freq so I'm assuming they were trying to reach the tankers.

Jared

Yesterday PM I heard a couple of short xmissions on 225.45. But it wasn't clear enough or long enough for me to get anything out of them. I'm guessing they were on the fringe of my radio horizon.

Perhaps "push secure stack" was actually push secure sat (short for satcom) - sometimes they can be difficult to understand - although they know what they are talking about.
