Short weekend.. Hardly worth the trip..

Sounds like a normal weekend.....try to get something done - rats its already Sunday - back to work tomorrow.

I enjoy my weekends more now.

0941- WARDOG 1 checking on Viper Common 226.300 advises "Any Radio" we will be working western part of airspace from base to FL250.

That was direct EEN (not ENE), ZBW 338.200 cleared LUNAR and NOMEX flights to fly VR-840 at 10,000 (final), handoff to Boston Approach 269.075, advises will fly VR-840 to "Point A" then into Yanky, handoff to Portland Approach 269.350, cleared to 4000 then canceled IFR, reported entering VR route, handoff to 346.400 ZBW.

Re: ATOP 11 North Pole flight. Must have been a couple of Minot BUFFS, heard them working Winnipeg for the descent on the way back. Can't find any mention of it on social media yet ?

If anyone is interested here are all the LiveATC comms I could find on the flight. It runs just over 20 minutes and is mostly just position reports, nothing too exciting.

Missed Dover race pre race today but at 12:30 local had a Raptor 1 coming into area dropping down
then at 1330 Raptor 1 says the Mustang is holding at 3.5k

Ok the Preakness! Thanks Hop.. That makes more sense than Dover.... missed it but was watching Preakness pre race on TV too.
Course Preakness race started at around 6:30PM local.. Must have been Track opening Anthem flyover.

Wallops gonna try again tonight that rocket launch.. Window 8:03 to 8:53pm. Clouds over Bermuda a concern tonight. 5th attempt tonight
and doesn't look good.

NOBLE says we should be releasing in about 30 minutes or should be to Taboo. May have one last topoff.
