Interesting. Can you hear the VHF side as well on 133.550 or the LDN VOR on 114.300 ? I wonder if it could be a case of ZDC using their backup transmitter ? According to the SOP the backup site is located at "Plains Radar" but it doesn't specify where that is ?
Could only hear acft on 132.55. UHF ducting only lasted for about 30 mins. Happens every now and then on certain freqs depending on wx conditions.

Might be a good day to try some Sporadic E (25-50 MHz) monitoring?

Theory on the Titus callsign.

There's only 1 acft using that callsign C-12 # 76-0168) They always use Titus but the number is different for each flt/mission.

I'm thinking that the Titus C-12 is used for training/evaluating pilots that will be assigned to the Diplomatic Liaison flight unit.
