Guys,
Just passing this on for your consideration. I turned up from one of the Florida listeners in a discussion on another list of the aperiodic activity with the E-4B NAOCs and some of the Andrews C-32s.
Since a lot of this activity seems to take place in our areas, here is a scanner system I made for COG (Continuity of Government).
Just some frequencies that could be active, or have had E-4, E-6 and SAM air-air related activity before.
142.7500 AM
142.7500 NFM (auto mode for P25 too)
166.5125 P25 Sierra
225.6000 E-6B / E-4B air-air
225.4750 FM "JACK 5" (Florida log)
233.7000 Tinker E-6 Ops
234.9500 EAM
277.8000 Fleet Tac (E-6B air-air)
277.9000 E-6B air-air
292.8000 SAM air-air
305.6000 Raymond 24
375.4750 FM "JACK 5" (Florida log)
450.4750 FM "JACK 5" (Florida log)
The “Florida log” came from a monitor here that heard these on the same day last Nov that Jack saw the E-4 and E-6 following each other near Jacksonville, FL. The date and timing of the radio traffic match Jack seeing them near Jax.
The call sign was JACK 1 and JACK 5. CTCSS 151.4 was used on all three.
Comms were nothing more than “switch 375.475” and same for 450.475. Very brief.
