Two Holloman AFB F-16s are going to be performing a flyover over the Boilermaker Road Race in Utica, NY tomorrow, 10/10. Major Nicholas “Titto” Hanna, a Utica Native, will be the flight lead for the flyover. I’m trying to find out if these guys are staying at Griffiss or not, did anyone hear them transition through their area yet?

There was a TALON 1 flight working KSYR APP on Thursday (2100Z archive), handed off to Griffiss Tower.

Also this was posted over on the Michigan Forum (same day).
TALLY 1 x 2 or TALON?
284.625 Cleve.C. 04:10pm.
They went to 363.400, but should've been 363.200 DTW app. Went back to 284.625 & was given,
317.550 TOL app, 04:15pm. They wanted to fly along the Detroit River 6 miles north east of Custer airport at 3000ft, turn around & then head for Wheller Sack Airfield.

Here is an interesting video of a B-52 at Goose Bay in 1957 or perhaps 1958.
I digitized this old 8mm movie taken by my father when he was stationed there.
Best place ever it was during the cold war, Goose Bay was a busy place.
I assume there is no issue with posting in this forum.
I uploaded it to onedrive, hope this URL works:

You must have been reading my mind as was just looking at Chuck's post in Michigan.
Sounds like F-16's with still VHF A/A freqs as well :) Holloman is a F-16 training center anymore.

One would think they would use a DE State Police helo for this & not have the DC Park Police come up there. Unless, maybe, the PP helo has some special equipment on it for these missions

You would think, and not a smart move in my opinion as they are used for back up missions when the MSP troopers are unavailable. I held a LZ for one the other day as a matter of fact.

Weird, it opens on my other computer.
Yeah opens fine here.It does have some permission limits on copying and editing but ok.
Summary at the end is interesting as seems the MSP (Mil student pilot) had language and training issues and makes you
wonder how he got as far as T-38's. Bottom line the instructor gets blamed but not so sure here.
