1539 - Comms on 259.900 and 264.850 and two flights of Barnes F-15s got cleared into Viper (ZBW 323.000)

1541 - (226.300) Callsign was cut off but they ID’d as 2 F-15s preparing to enter the Viper airspace, 8,000-FL500. Asked if any F-35s and more specifically if JAWS flight was still there.

1547 - BILLY 1 flight checking in on Viper common (226.300) still a little bit outside the airspace.

Thanks for the tie up. DC-3??? That's a venerable old bird. Didn't know many of those were still flying. When I was in USAF in Korea in 1960-61, we were flying DC-3s as signals collection platforms.

Strange they are using 123.225 if assigned to PAX.

Not Milair but maybe affecting some of you guys --

That last paragraph irks me.. typical horse crap to blame natural conditions.. Ever think that millions of more people
in Bay area and along all Coasts since 1909 with more road paving etc is more likely the problem?
No changing that. When I see waterfront property go down in value I might believe it but it never does :)
Fake Doom and Gloom news..

Upper Chesapeake water levels looking good so far even after all that Pennsylvania rain this past week.
Been actually a dry Fall so far..
National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service

1930 local I see AF-1 and SAM-46 not far from Rome already.. Made good time.
GRIMM-99 E-4B looks headed to Germany.

Guys,

Some HF North Atlantic catches by the Euros on AF1 trip. Posted on another list.

05649.0 SHANWICK USB SAM46 B757 Disconnect CPDLC and log on to EGGX. At 2128 SELCAL check. At 2137 Shanwick states that ATC does not get a response on its CPDLC message, please log on again. 28OCT21 2121 MIB

05649.0 SHANWICK USB GRIM99 E4B 74-0787 KADW- Position report unreadable; possibly 49N30W mentioned but confirmed SELCAL request by 99 on MSBR. At 2213 Shanwick calls GRIM99 via voice and SELCAL on 3446, nothing heard. At 2215 a call on 5649 but also nothing heard. 28OCT21 2208 MIB

Guys,

Checking AIRNAV this morning and found that they are listing 141.55/349.4 as ADW CP freq. I haven't heard anyone using 349.4 to contact ADW but did hear one acft last week call ADW CP on 378.1 w/no response.
Rgr Ron find that Airnav listings are way out of date.. Andrews CP 378.100 out of service expired off the Notam board last Month
and they never renewed it even though 378.100 is still down.. I get Mil all the time trying that freq no joy.

For those looking for latest Mil or Civ airport notams go here then scroll down to second box on right (Resources) and hit Search NOTAMs.
After disclaimer pop up type in any airport code and away you go..
ICAO NOTAM (faa.gov)

1958 local STEEL-73 out of Pittsburgh calling PITT-75 C-17 climbing out of Dover on AR-220 "Secondary" 282.700.. No joy.
That freq also doubles as MD ANG A/A chopper freq. Getting weak coms on 348.900 prob not related.
2004 PITT-75 on Pittsburgh Ops 252.100 asking about status of our tanker.

I can understand your concerns and the article only quotes a network meteorologist not a NOAA one. While my local news weathercast person may be informed - nothing better than from the real source like NOAA / NWS. While this is a wiki - if you check some of the information particularly the satellite referenced stuff - you will see that the sea level has increased. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_level_rise

The main issue with beach property values is that the local governments keep pushing for beach replenishment which keeps the houses on the beach at the basic same distance from the water. So that helps keep the beach values high since the house is still on the beach. However, without human influence (beach replenishment) - a lot of the current beach houses would be in the water and their neighbors a block from the beach would be the ones with the high on the beach values. There was a old WWII military complex at Cape May Point that since the 70's was gradually becoming more of an island in the Atlantic versus surrounded by sand. A major beach replenishment was accomplished and low and behold the facility is now surrounded by sand again. Where I have my beach house (about 500 feet from the Delaware Bay) when I bought the property I was well outside the FEMA declared flood zone (read needing flood insurance). With the most recent survey and update from FEMA based on measurements taken by NOAA over the past few years (and thanks to SANDY) that boundary line was cut to 250 feet away. While the property value may remain high - most people forget about the flooding and destruction of property from storms. They take the odds that they will not have to deal with it - but in reality without human intervention (tax payers money) - they would be in the water and not have beachfront property.

Sorry - no mil stuff to report. Up here in PA this morning and wife and I getting ready to head back to the beach to watch the big waves on the Delaware Bay.

No sooner did I say possibly no local mil air then at 0900 hearing Devil 11 flt (F-16s 119th FS NJ ANG) working ZDC Casino (285.4) ZDC Salisbury (257.7) & ZDC Snow Hill (236.825) on way down to PAX to work in R-4006.

0930- Devil flt now working ZDC Cape Charles (293.225). First time I've heard the new Cape Charles freq used.
