1855 HF 8992/11175/15016 TIGHTEND? for 3WLBQZ multi character message... repeating every few minutes or so.
1905 New voice 8992 22 character message for 3WOVLG.. HF sure busy tonight. Strong 20 over dB prob from Andrews.

Mark,
I work in UTC
The message at 22:54 wasn't 'for' 3WLBQZ and it wasn't repeating every few minutes. That specific one was repeated once as part of a multi repeat starting at 23:12
The 23:04 message was a repeat of one two minutes earlier and in each case 30 characters not 22. It was also included in teh multi message at 23:12

2050 local RCH-897 C-17 96-0005 105AW calling their CP NY ANG Stewart on 379.400 reports alpha 1.
Storm atmospherics or sunspots unusual for me to hear way down here. :)

Looks like they passed west of you on the way in so - perhaps not that far away when they called command post,

0855- Allow 76 (E-6B # 163920 VQ-4 Det) off PAX heading east. Working simultaneously on 311.0 & 323.8. " Advisory, this is Lost Dime (TACAMO) on 8992." After couple of attempts to contact Advisory (HF-GCS) tell Advisory, " My station request to enter the net at this time" He then goes through the normal authentication procedures for entering the net. The same as heard on HF freqs. First time I've heard this on UHF freqs. He must not know that he's xmitting on all 3 freqs at the same time. As he signs off he's chuckling, so maybe someone pointed that out. Signs out with " My station requires no additional assistance at this time" As this is going on, he's heading northeast up along the NJ coast, just south of Atlantic City.

At 0917 broadcasts 30 character EAM (3WL7AC) on both 311.0 & 323.8.

10:03 local SAM-565 on HF 8992 calling any station.. No joy so far.
10:06 ADVISORY answers on same. Barely readable..
SAM-565 says going to 11175. SAM comes on 11175 even much weaker.

1020 local ZNY Oceanic 8918 L+C with ASCOT-6353 C-17 awaiting Oceanic clearance.
RRR-6353 just departed Cape Canaveral Landing facility

Great shot. Was wondering if your "all seeing" camera had snagged him as he passed over you. He's out over the Atlantic now off NJ, probably trailing his wire.

Ron

Thanks - it was the two spotting cameras on the front of my face and then a 35 mm camera with telephoto. Saw him tracking up headed my direction and fortunately the cloud cover had moved far enough east to capture the shots.
