Regardless of who the POTUS is - that kind of issue should not have occurred. Would be interesting to read the investigation documents about that one.

“The motorcade intentionally took the highway U-turn route to Edinburgh due to airspace issues, according to a White House official.”

Given it was out of Lakehurst, I think 18-21032 is not yet in service. I believe the ones there are being fitted with their service-specific equipment before going out to the fleet.

I saw one of these Pax white MH-60s flying along the Potomac then going clockwise around the Beltway once it got to the American Legion bridge a little while ago. There was a lot of Osprey activity up and down the river too today.
1545- Had 2 USMC Cobras go overhead north towards NYC A/A 36.15 "RED DOGS". Finally showed on TIS-B once they got over the bay.

Just a heads up to the NY/Canada guys, just noticed Viper was hot from 1330 until 1630 and active again tonight from 2000-2300. I didn’t happen to hear anything from about 1430-1630 but I’ll be listening later tonight too.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but the VTANG and MAANG both have drill this weekend. And the VTANG will have four Raptors fly up on Friday to join in on the fun. The Raptors are from Langley and they are estimated to leave BTV in the morning on Saturday. I picked a bad weekend to work!
No idea if it will be this same helo - but confirmed on Rutgers websites that there will be a flyover Saturday.

Tomorrow afternoon is Colin Powell's funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. So perhaps there could be some sort of flyover.

Thanks! Looks like the Lightning 4 ATCAA is scheduled to be active tomorrow from 1400-1600 Zulu (1000-1200 local) which likely means the Barnes F-15s are getting refueled in there during that time slot. I am unable to monitor tomorrow during the day but should be able to this weekend.
Not to start a argument but seems past hero's like Astronauts,Generals and other military heroes wait months for Arlington burial.

2055 local RCH 4178 C-17 trying Andrews CP 378.100 no joy.. The other day a couple C-17's inbound from Europe
were talking that you have to land Andrews then call CP on their phone line..
You would think Andrews would update their Base notam by now but the idiotic UHF CP Com "nobody home" show continues.
