For all it's worth there was a NOTAM issued October 1st of the change.

!DCA 10/035 CCV COM REMOTE COM OUTLET 257.7 CHANGED TO 293.225 2110012233-PERM

Acknowledging my newbie status here, [after earlier searching for ZDC notams] I've looked at the notams for DCA at the linked site and can't find the entry that AirScan referenced. I had posted the new 293.225 after it appeared on October 15 in the NFDD with no mention there that it replaced anything. I'd like to keep up with future comm changes myself, so what am I doing wrong? Should notams be searched using every area airport code even though this change is at the ARTCC level? Thanks for increasing my level of understanding how the airspace system works.

Looks like OPEC 78 hooked up with an AWACS - EMBER 40. There was another KC-10 HOIST 98 eastbound that looked like they were dragging something from Nellis to Moody, A-10s ?

These guys the ones from California that are TDY'd to Langley for a few months?
Yeah the same guys.. Many got to go home to Cal for Fam visits when Potus was in Europe.

Nice pic Terry as they were talking about that being the one and only topoff for today.
NOBLE-01,02 bugged out for Langley at 1804 local heard going to 236.825 ZDC.
Did Potus even make it down today? DC was a busy place today..

1930 local RAILROW standing by for traffic 8992,11175. Noisy background sounded like aircraft but HOTROD-88
looks inbound Wright-Pat now.

Mark,
Fairly sure the primary NCS call is RAILROAD. Terrible conditions here with fireworks for hours making it difficult to think.
Earlier RAILROAD sent a couple of 30 character messages for BRAVOFORCE and CHARLIEFORCE but I've not heard any other specifically addressed ones.
Other messages of different lengths but signals fading on most freqs and in the case of fours the tx seemed to be drifting significantly too
As well as that E4 there have been a couple of RC135Vs vacuuming up info from you all as well as the usual E6s flying between bases for circuit-bashing.
Plenty of SIGINT aircraft up all evening so you should keep your cellphones shut in their Faraday pockets ;)

Guys,

A listener in Kansas posted this, heard on 312.1 MHz

Sandman, turned everything down so I can hear you. Is this on Romeo?

Might be a good freq to put into your rotations just in case it's TACAMO, ABNCP related.

That’s VQ-4/VQ-7 Base at Tinker.

SAME 40 working south of Indianapolis. (?).

Working what appears to be a German SOF exercise at Camp Atterbury. Backend call was SHINER 40. Lots of interesting aircraft so far, should be going for a few days.
