Nothing on 269.650 here Ron.. Couple more C-17's to note.
RCH 842 C-17 #90-0535 445AW off Dyess headed Northeast.
RCH 09-9207 C-17 from KCHS towards Dyess.
A RCH 886 C-17 #00-0181 off KCHS headed towards Dyess.
RCH 202 10-0222 into Dyess earlier looks like fuel stop at Dover..
start a rumor that RCH 202 has some Dyess refueling crews aboard when B-1's stop there .. LOL
The Dyess cargo conga line finally starting.
RCH-151 C-17 #00-0172 off Charlotte headed due Westbound..

1705 local RCH-842 C-17 90-0535 now at FL350 from Dyess headed towards Bangor.
Can't imagine it with a full load making Norway non-stop.
1719 And RCH 842 starting slow descent...

before crossing.

0220z SPUR 70-73 taking off from Pease.

0220z 125.050 Pease departure.
0222z 128.200 Boston ARTCC (ZBW) check in block 8-10 looking for block 310-330 direct FRIAR (near Augusta Maine).
0232z 225.500 Found A-A signal stalker, pushing AR Prime (did not hear any talk on AR freqs yet)
0246z 225.500 Lead asks 2 & 3 if they could speed up to make mission time but the requested speed was too much so they said they would rather not. One tanker said were only four minutes behind. Not too late.

Looks like a Northern mission possibly to AR-62. Will let you know if I hear anything.
0231z They flew right over my house, ran outside to see the NAV Lights and a nice roar of three heavys! Wish it were daytime!

Rgr caught me by surprise.. was ready to turn in.. Nothing down this way yet.. Maybe coming from the Dakotas :)
Would be ironic if Dyess birds were already up North at Ellsworth and nothing to see here :(
No doubt the gear and manpower coming from Texas but the actual Birds? Still seems not enough tankers.
2150 local RCH 937 starting slow descent prob into Bangor.
You are correct.. SPURS Headed straight for AR-62. Really loaded as they can barely do 440 knots and FL320 :)

Edit time ran out so here is my latest post - re-post...

0220z SPUR 70-73 taking off from Pease.

0253z 123.925 Check in with Montreal Center.
0257z 225.500 Signal getting weak and barley readable now, open squelch.
0300z No more reception here. Guess it's up to LiveATC.
0305z 123.925 LiveATC Montreal Center, told SPUR 70 flight to switch to 126.325 Moncton Center. I could not find this on live ATC so I punched in Moncton Center High Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and I can hear the ground controller talking to SPUR flight but not hearing the SPURs. Better than nothing!

22:16 EST - YFB Montreal LiveATC feed - TABOO 11 trying to check in with Montreal Center, in the block FL270-FL280 I think he said. Montreal replied and called back a couple times but no response ?

22:24 EST - SPUR 70 checking on with Montreal inbound to N5430W7109.

22:34 EST - Montreal still trying to contact TABOO 11.

22:16 EST - YFB Montreal LiveATC feed - SAVU (?) 11 trying to check in with Montreal Center, in the block FL270-FL280 I think he said. Montreal replied and called back a couple times but no response ?

22:24 EST - SPUR 70 checking on with Montreal inbound to N5430W7109. Montreal still can't read SAVU 11.
Thanks for the YFB feed idea. They just checked in on 119.4 but sounds like the flight of three split up as 70 & 71 are together and 73 was told to go to Gander Center. Just a guess but maybe 73 is meeting them further down track to stay with the flight over the pond?

I guess you heard 73 check on with Montreal (YFB feed) at 22:42 EST, then advised both SPUR flights that the first two bombers were 2 hours late and the 2nd two were 50 minutes late. Bombers ETA first point at 23:04 EST.

It's weird I've heard TABOO 11 trying to check in 3 times now, Montreal replies each time but it sounds like they are not hearing the controller ?
I did. What a cluster. Apparently they don't have UHF frequency capability where the bombers were at that time and the controller asked the SPURs to contact them and have them come up on 132.77

11:59 PM EST - Still listening to LiveATC. Confirmed flight of B-1s heading to Norway. Also have been trying to hear their callsign better. I'm pretty sure Airscan is right, it sounds more like SAVU than TABOO. Anyway, The first flight is almost done refueling now and the second flight had just declared MARSA and is starting AR-62E.

That's it....I'm off to bed!
