Saw first wave of BOBBY 61-63 off Elmendorf this morning around 0630 local here.They were headed almost due North just to East of Fairbanks so looks like one hop Polar route to Lakenheath.

Hancock Field ANGB (KSYR) is hosting the Civil Air Patrol Encampment this week for the NY Wing. There will be military visitors there starting today and ending Friday, the list is as follows:

Tuesday 7/26: KC-135 & LC-130
Wednesday 7/27: C-5 & C-17
Thursday 7/28: C-17
Friday 7/29: CH-47

There’s also going to be an AH-64 at some point.

Actually Keflavik BIKF. Reykjavik has a small airport but it is domestic only.
