I've been watching that F-15 north of the Pack Pegasus tankers, anyone hearing any comms? I wonder what he is up to?
He was at 37,000 going up and down around that altitude and rapid changes in speed, at one time he was close to Mach 1 with almost 800 MPH indicated ground speed! I wonder if he is chasing something.
He went down low for a bit and went off RADAR.
He's at 11,800 now headed back towards Westover ARB where I think he originally came from.

That is why I said the use of satellites would make a TFR irrelevant for the peeking part, but not for minor incidents where a satellite wouldn't be cost effective or available in a timely mannere.

Seems Whitemen AFB has extended runway closure till end of the Calendar year.. Must be a real mess.
Hopefully some B-1's can still get off the ground.

It appears LUCKY77 is on the way back to Goldsboro. I’ll keep an eye out tomorrow when I can at work. They’ll fly either right over my house or office tomorrow inbound but we’re expecting bad weather most of the day.

Haven't been able to confirm tailnumber for TROY217, but I've heard them operating out of the Manassas Air Branch like the others.

Just confirmed TROY217 is N322V. Here they are over the Convention Center today.
