It probably is LOMA then (ROMA is usually a tanker callsign). I wonder if they will be working with the F-35's this afternoon.

1327- SCOTCH 21 departing BTV for Viper. SCOTCH is a new VT callsign AFAIK.
1334- STING 11 (x3) clearance to Viper and back to BTV. So I guess the F-16s will be working with the F-35s.
1351- CRAZY 11 departing BTV.
1352- STING 11 departing BTV.
1354- PISTOL 31 departing BTV.

Does sound like ROMA when talking to BTV but I tracked them down on LiveATC getting their clearance in KTOL, callsign there sounded like LOMA, which is a known travelling callsign for the 180 FW/112 FS out of Toledo.

LOMA is the travel callsign for Toledo.

I thought COMCENTCOM had his own C-37. Used to use the SPAR callsign

"With the squadron officially inactivating on September 30, 2019 the last mission was flown from MacDill AFB July 1, 2019. Although the final mission was flown, the squadron currently remains at MacDill until the inactivation ceremony. Two of the three aircraft will go to the 65th AS at Ramstein Air Base and the third aircraft will go to the 76th AS at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam."

CENTCOM commander normally uses one of 89th AW's 4x C-40Bs for overseas trips (ADS-B Exchange - tracking thousands of aircraft). I presume he uses 89th AW C-37s for trips to Washington etc because I rarely see C-40s make the hop from ADW-MCF and back.

Two KC-46s, REACH 533 and REACH 146 return to Pease after a quick trip to the Cape Verde Islands.

One gets an oceanic reroute and the dispatcher checks ADSBExchange just like we do to try to find out why:

AES:AE5FA0 GES: D0 2 .86053S ! 1J R
FTX/ID86053S,RCH146,DZ1638071034/MR7,/FX

WATCHING U ON ADS B EXCHANGE CAN NO FIGURE OUT THE REASON FOR REROUTE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE ANY NOSE TO NOSE TRAFFIC AND UR PARTNER MAINTAINED HIS ORIGINAL ROUTING DON-FM

1338 Ok just heard Noble 11 on KACY Approach UHF (327.1250).. ALSO it seems they use ZDC18 Dupont Low (327.2500) NOT ENO to talk to ZDC Center when Biden is in DE

Justin - as I indicated to you elsewhere trying to help. DEVIL 11 and SATAN 21 flights were talking to ACY approach and landing at ACY as two separate groups of two F16s.

I listened to the activity live and here is the archive LiveATC version (compressed for brevity and zipped per RR requirements). Let me know if you cannot open.

Terry

Checking tape NOBLE-11 came up on 322.400 complains there is a ATIS also on this freq and will rtb Langley
VFR and request flight following.Says we will circle West of Baltimore and go South from there.

1410 local SWATH-13 with Dover CP 349.400 says will divert there with 45k on fuel and req follow me vehicle.

There is a SWATH-14 up not tracking maybe McGuire KC-10. NOBLE's currently A/A 268.200
No doubt from Florida talking about his kids baseball game and St John's County

Last night C-17 REACH 469 departed Dover for Poland and declared an emergency shortly after takeoff. They lost pressurization and wing anti-ice and requested that the ground crew check for possible damage or fire on the left wing after landing.

With the overweight landing they apparently were required to use a reduced flap setting for the go around climb gradient. This required the longer runway at Dover. They were cleared for a visual approach to runway 32 by the approach controller but were still lined up on runway 1 as they descended below 1000 feet. After the go around the tower controller gave them a visual circuit to runway 32. Again, they were unable to land and went missed approach, did a 360 turn for more checklists and finally landed on the next pass. No damage was found by the ground crew and REACH 469 taxied back to the ramp.

Attached audio edited from LiveATC.

Yeah this morning I had RCH-469 on tape with CP 349.400 reporting he has to return Dover due to left wing manifold pressure.
That was all he said. pilot on your tape sounds like he is very sleepy.I believe RCH-469 came out of Pope AAF before Dover stop.
Normally overweight aircraft at Dover have to use Runway 1 as it is reinforced concrete with much higher weight rating than Runway 32
but 32 is a couple thousand feet longer.

1736 local had SWATH-14 with Dover CP no reply but asssume they were landing there.
SWATH-14 was KC-46A #17-46026 from the 22ARW.
