RCH-038 C-17 #10-0217 inbound Dover from Seattle req assault lighting (turn lights off) for landing runway 32 but
RCH 574-#10-0214 will beat them first to runway 1 from Germany.
Notice the Kalitta B744's have done the last two Camber cargo runs to Kiev from Dover.

Saw this vid last week bit off topic but you don't see this type of parallel Civy landings around here.Maybe Dulles airport does this.
DOUBLE LANDINGS on the 28s at SFO - YouTube

GAF-917 A343 being slowed down by headwinds approaching Boston speed 385 knots.
Eastbound turbo prop GAF-264 A400M type doing 450 knots.. Wind at their backs for sure.

1930 local RCH-156 C-17 #07-7180 off Pope EB probably for Poland as seems where those guys are setting up.

WGN8328 B744 N344KD from Atlanta going to Dover now.. These guys are just usually painted plain white.Keeps costs down :)

It took three days of around the clock staging, and dawn to dusk transfers, to offload our combat load, on my deployment.
I guess the GW Bush finally has all those new fangled ordinance elevators working good.
Funny last week we had Detroit CG Helo down this way but Detroit based CG Helo did keep busy I see rescuing folks off the ice
near Catawba island in Lake Erie yesterday... I guess no CG Helos based in Cleveland.
BTW a recent pic of N344KD in Europe last year.

RCH154 (C-17A 07-7174) off Pope NC this AM diverted to DOV. Emergency vehicles met them on the tarmac.
Rgr checking tape 01:48 local RCH-154 C-17 #07-7174 inbound Dover "emergency aircraft"13k to 8k pilot clearly with mask on reports
smoke in cargo compartment,53 SOB req vector for ILS runway 1.

Another night, another C-17 emergency at Dover. New tower freq rumored to be 121.5. ;)

More ATC audio below edited from LiveATC. Sounds like they did an emergency evacuation on the taxiway after landing.

I've lost colleagues (UPS 6) and friends (Valujet 592) to aircraft cargo fires. :(

Hope tonight is quiet at Dover. (y)

In listening - they indicate smoke in cargo department and I think a breach - or release ? Trying to make out the second issue.
Hazmat 3 and 9 on board.

Speaking of Camp David, I managed to get a couple shots of a KC-10 from the last time. I don't think I posted them. The flight path was positioned a little further NW than usual which made it closer to my home. Unfortunately there were no fighters in my pictures. Shortly afterward the next tanker came in and went invisible on trackers. These big planes are impressively hard to spot!
