KILLER 2, one of the two F-15s in Viper today reported to his flight lead seeing a white dot go past him while at about FL180 and he couldn’t get a good look at what it was because he had turned into the sun. He presumed it was just a balloon but his flight lead sounded like he hoping it was a UFO hahaha.

I heard a similar report last year from two Indiana ANG A-10s returning to Fort Wayne from the Jefferson Range. They were on 226.025 MHz and one of the pilots passed something that looked like a frisbee. The event interrupted a conversation about a coed pilot crashpad.
