PSR-800: Stock Firmware

Does anyone have the stock firmware for this scanner? It locked up on the firmware screen and I can’t get it out. Thank you

If your GRE 800 had been upgraded by Whistler, the firmware can be found on The Whistler site. GRE is a good scanner. Had mine upgraded by Jon at Whistler in Arkansas my scanner has be flawless..

Do you know if they can fix an issue where we had a lightning strike here and I can't power my old psr 800 with a wall outlet I must use batteries which is annoying and expensive, I tried use rechargeable batteries but it just get tedious?

Yes that can be repaired it should be a protection diode.

Have you checked out the wall wart to see if it works? If it was plugged into the wall during the lightening strike chances are it was damaged. Seen that a lot.
