Streaming private stream to Android Auto

Hello
I am trying to stream my BCD996P2 to my new Honda Accord's Android Auto apps. Apparently the apps on Android Auto are extremely limited. But I have 2 options as far as I can tell. VLC and Radio Scanner apps are both available. Unfortunately I'm not having any luck adding a stream to these 2 apps. I have the paid for version of Scanner Radio Pro, and there is a place to add a custom scanner.
How can I stream to either one of those apps, with tags if possible? I am currently running Proscan to access the scanner at my work computer.
I would prefer to have an app on my car's screen that connects to Proscan. I can currently run a browser on my phone through Android Auto. But that requires me to open my phone and start the webpage.

Tried that and got this error



This is from my work PC btw. Proscan webserver and ip server is accessible from the outside.

If you have a password on the web server, that will need to be in the address. I forget the exact format.

I just found that in the Proscan manual. It needs to be at the end of the url with a space before it.

If the stream is password then use this format

http://192.168.0.2:5000/stream+

mypassword

{edit} space will work too as you found out just now.
