I'm in Florida so we have our share of storms. My antenna is in the attic to prevent direct lighting strikes. My house hasn't had a strike as all other electronics and radios are working fine. I do have my equipment plugged into battery backups just for this reason. I've emailed Stridesberg several times now and he has yet to get back to me so I can send them in again. Of course I know I will have to pay again but it's strange that I have not heard back. I guess I'll need to disconnect it in the future if there that sensitive.
