Well I shipped my PRE-20 preamp off today with no email or phone calls from Morgan. It should be under warranty so maybe I'm just adding to the pile in Shreveport only time will tell.
Have you heard anything from them?

Please look at the picture provided. I have a cord that plugs into it, but there's nothing on the other end? What am I supposed to attach it to? Nothing else came in the pkg.
I wasn't being snarky or facetious. You need a 12 volt power supply. That can range from anything like this, which can be used to power a lot of things but overkill for a single multicoupler, or a universal wall wart from Amazon, just to power the multicoupler. If you go with the wall wart, you need something that can provide (based on Stridsberg's site):
Code:
DC Power Connector: 2.1/5.5mm coaxial (standard)
DC Power Requirements: +12VDC (nominal) @ 85 mA

I understand what you're saying. What I'm saying is, the package came. The cord that's plugged into in the picture is what came with it. But with only the end with the plug for the mulitcoupler. Not the actual power source. It's just 2 bare wires lol

Either which way, luckily I have found a universal one here that's 12v and is working. I'm now in testing mode lol. :)

Awesome. I have a few of those lying around too. They come in handy.

The two bare wires are meant for a desktop power supply.

Now, I do have 2 power supplies here that I use for my CB's. Could I use that original cable that came with it on those? Only problem is you can't actually tell which is supposed to be positive or negative. I think I'll just have to throw it aside for now and just use the universal one that I found. So far so good.

You could use those, as long as they are 12v (or 13.8v), and have spare current capacity. Sometimes a stripe or text labeling one wire is positive can be found (and hard to read).

You are correct, had to look alot closer. Yes, there is a marking on one of them with the white stripe. I'm assuming that's negative?

Their documentation says center pin is positive, under the "Power Supply" section. You'll need to use a continuity tester or multi-meter to confirm.

I have a feeling the white wire is positive and the center pin. It may actually say that on the wire. As previously noted, a multimeter will confirm. Also, if they say they can supply the six feet on request it seems that they would. Did you need that length and fail to request it?

Based on your posts, I urge you to read the documentation, the actual part and any printing on the wire. Have fun!

Would've been nice to have it wired already for a plug in. Sent in the package. Don't ya think?

No, I did not read the part about the power supply. Must've looked that over. As far as requesting something, well, we already know how the communication is so.... Either way, I have a universal here and it's working just fine.

Over the last few years I have purchased four of these multicouplers from Scanner Master and each came with a 12v power supply.

It doesn't take much power, 85mA, so you can use a splitter and use the power from any 12v powered scanner, except TRX-2 that use a funky laptop connector. I have one 1-4 splitter to power several scanners from one power supply. As long as the power supply can handle their combined power it will be fine. Some scanners take 500mA others 800mA, at full volume, but normally lower than that.
