The practice Thunderbirds pass came at about 5:40. I didn't hear a peep on any of their previously published frequencies, but had the SDR running and spotted activity on 140.350 MHz, and it was them!

Do you know the ATC freq they're on? Trying to narrow down the LiveATC feed to listen to?

Actually TBird 15 should be a USAF C-130 Support Aircraft. In this case AE5F0D comes back to a C-130J assigned to the 19AW/41AS based at Little Rock AFB AR (KLRF) Serial #16-5859.

Caught another CBP aircraft on my ADS-B yesterday around 1330. It was their P3B AA6491 N769SK. He will probably be a player during the event today.

Any idea if these are exclusive for Atlanta or used other places by the Tbirds?

Thanks for asking. They are not exclusive to the ATL. Two are known and have been seen before (141.175 and 149.650) with TBird activity. With one exception (141.175) they all come out of a pool of tactical and training frequency groups. In 2004 the 138-150.600 MHz (exc 2M) band plan was completely overhauled by DoD. Instead of each frequency being assigned to a specific service, they are now assigned by usage. Thus there are a lot more potential air comm (AM mode) frequencies than there use to be. I am slowly covering these new air tactical assignments in my monthly The Spectrum Monitor Milcom column and occasionally on my Milcom blog.

Lots of checks going on right now on APD Mutual Aid SWAT 2 channel. People asking if there is clear visibility to all of the suites and checking visibility around the stadium. Sounds like the sniper team setting up?
